Here is how it works:
- We request the locates, and the service marks public lines: gas, electric, water, and communications.
- Private lines are yours to point out, including sprinkler systems, landscape lighting, invisible pet fences, and septic, since the locate service does not mark those.
- Tell us before we dig, so we can work around anything in the ground.
