We ran galvanized tension wire along the base so the 9 gauge black mesh stays tight to grade instead of belling out where a dog pushes. Above it, a 1 3/8″ .047 black top rail ties the line together, with 1 5/8″ .047 black line posts and heavier 2 3/8″ .047 black terminals set in concrete at corners and at each opening. The walk gate and the 10-foot double gate hang off those terminals, so the openings stay square.
