Two fence lines do two different jobs on this property. Around the part of the yard that needs cover, we built privacy from 5/8 by 3.5 inch Douglas fir pickets in a cedar tone pre-stain, on 2 1/2 inch square steel posts in concrete with three Douglas fir 2×4 backrails and galvanized ring shank nails. Along the open boundary the fence steps down to 4 inch round treated posts in concrete, 4 inch by 8 foot doweled round rail, and 9 gauge black finish chain link stretched behind. A cedar tone walk gate serves the private side and a black chain link walk gate serves the open one. Broken Arrow lots often sit on that dividing line.
