Galvanized chain link wears a bright silver finish that stays even as it ages and never asks for a coat of anything. This run uses 4 foot, 11 1/2 gauge fabric on 1 5/8 inch .047 line posts with heavier 2 3/8 inch terminals, all set in concrete, and a 1 3/8 inch .047 top rail across the top to keep the line true and give the fabric something to pull against. A matching galvanized walk gate was hung in the run. Open mesh passes air and light straight through, so beds planted along the fence keep their sun and the yard still feels its full size.
