The frame carries this one. Line posts of 1 5/8 inch .047 pipe and heavier 2 3/8 inch .047 terminal posts go into concrete footings, and a 1 3/8 inch .047 top rail runs the length to tie them together. That top rail keeps 11 1/2 gauge fabric from waving in wind, and it is what a leaning ladder or a climbing kid meets first. Concrete footings matter more than people expect, because Tulsa clay swells after rain and pulls back in August. We hung a 4 foot walk gate and an 8 foot double gate in the run so a mower goes through without anything being lifted over the fabric.
