Four feet of ornamental iron marks a boundary you can see straight through, which is what most front and side yards want. We installed Ameristar Montage Majestic panels in the three rail profile, hung on 2 inch, 16 gauge black posts set in concrete. Pickets run at 4 inch standard airspace, close enough to keep a dog on the right side of the line, and the extended picket bottom rail carries the pickets past the rail so there is no easy gap at grade. The factory finish over steel holds up to sun and rain in a way painted metal does not. Bixby yards keep their sight lines with panels like these.
