Where a yard turns the corner from private to visible, the fence changes with it. The screened section is cedar picket with a 2×6 cedar cap board and 1×4 cedar trim finishing the top, all on 2 1/2 inch square steel posts set in concrete over three Douglas fir 2×4 back rails. Where the view matters, we installed Ameristar Montage Majestic three rail panels on 2 inch 16 gauge black posts, with 4 inch standard picket airspace and an extended picket bottom rail, plus a matching Ameristar walk gate. Cap and trim ties the picket tops together so nothing works loose in wind. That combination shows up often on Broken Arrow corner lots.
