6 ft Cedar Dog Ear Privacy Fence with Walk Gate on S 91st E Ave in Tulsa, OK

Fence System Details

Includes details of a 6-Foot Wood Fence installation in Tulsa. This Residential fencing project built by Empire Fence Company may include other types of fences or fence materials as specified below.

We ran 98 feet of six foot cedar privacy with two five foot steel framed walk gates, giving this yard a short perimeter and two easy ways in and out. Two gates on a run this size means neither one gets overworked, and the welded frames keep both hanging square long after the novelty wears off. Both open outward, away from the house. Cedar above grade handles Oklahoma sun and rain without chemical treatment, and square steel posts in concrete handle everything below grade, which is where wood posts usually fail. On a Tulsa lot where the fence runs close to the house, gates that stay true are worth the extra frame every time.

Privacy Fence 6' Cedar Dog Ear on Steel Posts

This 98 foot run sits tight to the house along part of its length, so we kept the pickets plumb and the backrails even where they show most.

Privacy Fence Welded Steel Framed Walk Gate

Two steel framed gates on a run this size means a short walk to either one, and the galvanized tubing keeps them from sagging the way an all wood frame does.
