One part of this property called for full screening and another only needed a marked boundary, so we built both. The privacy section is cedar: 5/8 by 3.5 inch dog ear pickets on three Douglas fir 2×4 back rails, carried by 2 1/2 inch square steel posts set in concrete. The open section is treated pine round rail, with 4 inch round posts, doweled rails, and 9 gauge black vinyl coated chain link behind the rails so animals stay where they belong. Each section has its own walk gate, one in wood and one matched to the rail run. Splitting a property this way is common on Owasso lots that back onto open ground.
