Each run is identical: 5/8″ x 3.5″ x 6′ cedar pickets, dog ear cut, on three Douglas fir 2×4 backrails, nailed with galvanized ring shank nails, standing on 2 1/2″ square steel posts set in concrete. The walk gate is built from the same stock with heavy duty hinges, a secure latch, and galvanized fasteners.
