We built 96 feet of six foot cedar privacy around this yard, and put two four foot walk gates on it so nobody has to cut through the house to get around back. Four foot gates are wide enough for a mower and narrow enough to stay light on their hinges, which is part of why they keep hanging square. There was no tear out here, so the posts went into fresh ground on a line we set ourselves. Cedar pickets on square steel posts is the standard build in Bixby for a reason: clay soil and hard freezes work on a wood post at grade until it finally gives.
