The run around it is 5/8 inch by 3.5 inch by 6 foot cedar dog ear pickets on three Douglas fir 2×4 backrails, over 2 1/2 inch square steel posts set in concrete, nailed with galvanized ring shank nails. Wide openings need square, solid posts above all. Handy on a Collinsville lot with a deep back yard.
