6 ft Cedar Dog Ear Privacy Fence with Walk Gate on McKellop Dr in Kellyville, OK

Fence System Details
Includes details of a 6-Foot Wood Fence installation in Kellyville. This Residential fencing project built by Empire Fence Company may include other types of fences or fence materials as specified below.
This build came to 191 feet of 6 foot cedar privacy fence on steel posts, finished with a 5 foot welded steel framed walk gate that swings outward away from the house. A steel frame is the right answer for a gate that gets heavy use. Wood frames rack over time and start to drag at the corner, while a welded square tube frame holds square and keeps the cedar facing flat. We weld these frames in our own shop and skin them in the same pickets as the fence. On a Kellyville lot the fence deals with wind off open ground and clay that shifts under every post, which is exactly what the steel handles.

One hundred ninety one feet of cedar wraps the yard, riding on square steel posts in concrete so the run does not sag between corners.

Privacy Fence Welded Steel Framed Walk Gate
We welded the frame for this 5 foot walk gate from galvanized square tube, then faced it with fence cedar. It opens outward, away from the house, so the swing stays clear of the walkway.
