6 ft Cedar Dog Ear Privacy Fence on E 87th Pl S, Broken Arrow, OK

Fence System Details

This was a straight replacement: 168 feet of six foot cedar privacy on square steel posts, with the old fence torn out and hauled off first. Some of the previous panels had already gone down into the neighbor’s yard, so cleanup came before a single post hole was dug. Building on steel changes what fails first. Wood posts rot at ground level where moisture sits, and that is why most fences lean long before the pickets wear out. Steel set in concrete takes that failure point off the table, and cedar above grade holds up to the sun. On a Broken Arrow lot backing another yard, a straight line matters to both sides of it.
