This replacement covers 168 feet of six foot cedar privacy with two five foot welded steel framed walk gates. The old fence came out and went to the dump before anything new went in. Both gates swing outward, away from the house, which keeps them from binding on the grade of the yard or on whatever is stored along the wall. Steel frames hold square under repeated use where an all wood gate eventually racks. On the fence itself, cedar pickets sit on square steel posts set in concrete, so the run stays straight while Broken Arrow clay expands and contracts through the year. It is a build meant for a yard with daily traffic through it.
