This Tulsa yard took 163 feet of 6 foot cedar privacy fence on steel posts, with two walk gates. Picket orientation changes by section here: the back line shows its smooth face to the yard, while the side and front runs face smooth side out toward the street. That mix keeps the view from inside the yard clean and still gives the street a finished elevation. Underneath all of it, square steel posts set in concrete carry the load and keep the line from wandering as the soil moves. Three Douglas fir backrails tie the cedar together against wind. Two walk gates keep both sides of the house reachable without cutting through the garage.
