Two different runs went in here, both picked so the upkeep stays low. Along the open side, 4 inch treated round rail posts in concrete carry doweled 4 inch by 8 foot rails, backed with 9 gauge black chain link that keeps pets in. Around the private area, Douglas fir pickets at 5/8 by 3.5 by 6 feet came pre-stained in a cedar tone on 2 1/2 inch square steel posts, with three fir backrails and galvanized ring shank nails. Steel below grade means no rotted post to dig out later. We built the privacy walk gate to match and hung a black chain link walk gate on the rail side. Broken Arrow lots often need both jobs at once.
