We also offer standard cedar split rail, featuring rough-sawn, multi-sided rails tapered on both ends to fit seamlessly into pre-drilled cedar posts.

However, shifts in wood availability and environmental factors are reshaping the market. To consistently deliver the most dependable fencing solutions, we transitioned to high-performance alternatives like treated Southern Yellow Pine for posts directly contacting the soil.
While some suppliers promote plastic sleeves or coal-tar coatings to shield post bases, we’ve determined that selecting superior wood species offers the best long-term value. Empire Fence remains dedicated to evaluating and adopting advanced material standards as industry innovations emerge.
